XP Virtual Machine

I need VM installed on my XP machine. I found an update,
but it won't update a program not installed. Can't find
the basic program to install. Not listed with the regular
WinXP updates.

Download & install MS Virtual Machine Build 3805.
Then visit the Windows Update website to obtain the
security updated version (Build 3810).
