Hi can any one tell me how to partition a hard drive without formatting.This
is because i just got a 160gig,I follow all the direction and the system is
still showing 127g.

Can't be done with the tools provided by XP. To alter partitions without
formatting, can be done with third party programs such as BootIT NG
(www.terabyteunlimited.com)
