I inadvertently clicked on the @sign ne in Automatically'
check box. Now when I open Win Msgr the user name appears
unrpompted. I don't want this and would like to remove it.
I have cleared the user name under Settings/Control
Panel/user accounts/manage my network passwords, but this
has no effect. Can you tell me how to clear this please

Greetings Alan,

You had the right idea, but what you need to remove is the Passport.Net\* (Passport) entry in
the 'Manage my network passwords' dialog.
