McAfee Firewall

I am running windows XP OE6, I have done disk cleanup and
defragged this AM, Did system restore. When I right click
on my McAfee icon, and hit run firewall I get this
message: McAfee Firewall encountered an error attempting
to start the firewall service overlapped 1/0 operation is
in progress. Any ideas how to get this running? Any help
would be appreciated.
