I am getting a terrible sound when I play music off the
net or music on my computer. Cd's played through the
drive are o.k.
I have tested all my computer settings and the volume is
fine.
I have no idea what the problem is or how to fix it. The
music skips, drags really slow in particular places and
it sonunds terrible.
Please help. When it says test the speakers I don not
know how. How do I know if my speakers are had it. I
tried the balance and that is fine.
Thanx

Hi,
Seems that you have a corrupt sound device. You must
uninstall the device and reinstall it back on. To test
the speakers go to control panel and clcik on sounds,
speech and audio devices. There you will find the option
to test your speakers.

Machelle,
Usually CD's have a direct feed line to the sound card and avoid the driver.
A PC that can run XP should have no problem with real-time sound processing.
Update the soundcards driver is probably the best bet
The model should be listed in 'device manager' (Right click 'My Computer',
click 'properties', click 'hardware'
click 'device manager' open the 'sound video and game controllers' tree
Hope this helps
