Every time I try to register Windows XP Home I get this
message: "The Microsoft registration site is not
available at this time." Why? What should I do?

"Register" or "Activate"?

Registration is optional, and to be truthful, I have seen no benefit from
it - ever -- in the case of the Microsoft OS.

Activation is required, but can also be done by telephone - if this is what
you are trying to do (activate) choose by Telephone, call the number and
speak with the Microsoft representatiove to finish up.
