linking computers

I need to link two computers. One is in one city and the
other is at my home. I have tried pc anywhere but found
it to be slow and not what i need. Any information
concerning this matter would be appreciated.

Lisa,
Have you checked the 'Remote Assistance' option (right click 'My Computer',
click 'properties' click 'remote').
I've never tried it, and it does seem to suggest possibly leaving your home
machine online and un-fire,
but it may be what you are looking for.

a firewall activated).
