how to make 2 computers see with each others in network neighborhood?

I want to know how to make 2 computers see with each others in network
neighborhood? Both computers are in the same LAN. I tried to set it up in
same domain, and same workgroup, but it doesn't work.

You have to enable filesharing on both pc´s. Then select at least one
folder, click right on properties and make that folder a shared one.
Furthermore: do you have a firewall installed on both pc´s? See that the IP
adresses of both computers are in eachothers trusted zones. When running a
third
party firewall (such as ZoneAlarm), you should disable XP´s built in
firewall.

If you are connected with Ethernet cards, you will need to add the IPX/SPX
protocol to each computer, before they will talk to each other.
