View Full Version : Altering text size for newsgroup printouts?

When I print a copy of a newsgroup posting (from File, Print), the resulting
printout is in fourteen point Times New Roman, which I consider to be far
too large.

How can I reduce the point size of the printout text (and change the font if
possible)? The bit at the top of the page that says "From Newsgroups Sent
Subject" is in ten point Arial, which is satisfactory.

View, Text Size is set to Medium, but altering this size does not change the
printout size.

(Is this related in any way. OE, Tools Options Compose tab, has the Compose
font set to 9pt Arial for both Mail and News, but when I compose a message,
such as this one, it appears on my screen in Times New Roman.)

Regards.

Thank you Arjun,

The solution you gave me was successful. What will happen if I ever decide I
want to change the text size from the default Medium used in this solution,
I do not know!

I shall leave things as they are for the time being.

I was very pleased to have your help

Regards.

Jan.

Hi Jan,

Instead of just printing from the post, I copy and paste to a Word Doc.
There, I can edit as I wish and print or save.
