Runtime Errors

Need help. Receive following error and don't know what
it means or how to fix:

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime error!
Program C:\Program Files\Earthlink TotalAccess\UpdMgr.exe
Abnornmal program termination.

I thought it might be associated wtih my TotalAccess
program and have uninstalled/re-installed but error msg
continues.

As far as I know I have all Windows XP updates.
