Hi, I have followed the instructions for installing the
printer and everything works fine until it starts to
install the driver and half way through installing it, it
stops and says " invalid data error" is all I need is the
driver for it but hp wont give me it and I have been
around the net without any luck.
PS I dont have a xp cd rom as xp is pre-installed. Jimmy

The XP driver is already on your system. Open the printers folder, file, add printer,
tick local printer, untick everything else, next, next, select HP from the list,
scroll down to the correct printer.
You should have a recovery disk that came with your computer, Windows will be on that
disk. If you don't have a recovery disk, get in touch with your dealer and insist
they send you one.
