Hi,

In my system after starting, msn is connected even it's not connected by, i
don't see the icon on my tray, but i receive msg frm my frnds

how is it possible

Hello
There are 2 messaging programs one is MSN Messenger and the other is Windows
Messenger they are 2 different programs windows messenger is signing in and
you think it is MSN so you will need to stop the Windows one it is part of
XP and MSN is a stand alone one.

Go to the Start Menu, select RUN, then enter SERVICES.MSC and click OK.

When the program opens, find the MESSENGER in the right pane, double click
it, and set it to disabled.
