I might've provided an answer except when I see your handle is "cracker." I
don't assist software pirates, either.

None of which apply to the term when used in the computer industry. From
www.dictionary.com:
crack·er (n.)
1. A thin crisp wafer or biscuit, usually made of unsweetened dough.
2. One that cracks, especially:
2a. A firecracker.
2b. A small cardboard cylinder covered with decorative paper that holds
candy or a party favor and pops when a paper strip is pulled at one or both
ends and torn.
2c. The apparatus used in the cracking of petroleum.
2d. One who makes unauthorized use of a computer, especially to tamper with
data or programs.
3. Offensive:
3a. Used as a disparaging term for a poor white person of the rural,
especially southeast United States.
3b. Used as a disparaging term for a white person.
Gee, I wonder why you excluded definition 2d. You also omitted a more full
description, like the "Computing Dictionary" section under
http://www.hyperdictionary.com/dictionary/cracker. So what's the publish
date of that really old version of the Oxford's Dictionary that you have?
Since the computerese definition of cracker is over 2 decades old, looks
like it's time to buy a new version, or maybe head to the library and hope
they update it more often than twenty year intervals.

"i want to find out the startup and shutdown time and also the history of

So, I wonder who might be trying to find a keylogger utility who can't
manage to program one themself? Could it be an IT or IS sysadmin? No,
because they would've been more detailed and responded as to the need to
monitor their corporate network. Who else? I know, scum that want to break
into a host they don't own, to steal information, to purloin credit cards,
or for identify theft. Yep, that's a cracker.
You set it up with a vague query asking how to invade and monitor a system
without giving any clue as to why such a function was needed to manage that
system. So it wasn't because you want to manage it as a sysadmin working in
a domain or workgroup. The "I might've provided an answer ..." response was
deliberate to see how you responded. Instead of telling us you administer
some domain or workgroup in a business or at school, you come back to
retaliate the suspicion. You identified yourself quite well.

what abt a HOME COMPUTER, NOT on ANY NETWORK, accessabe to only family
mambers ?
and abt "I might've provided an answer ..." its actually
"I might've provided an answer except when I see your handle is "cracker."
I
don't assist software pirates, either."-*Vanguard*"
which means u _DIDNT_SUSPECTED_YOU_ASSUMED_ that i m a legitemate Computer
Cracker involved in somekind of illegal Activities, you must be in sales or
marketting right ? u know how to manipulate ur own words, even when others
can easily find it out wt u said...keep it up ;-)
also i m suspicious abt u, you are a GAY, now wt u want to tell abt that ?
(assumption is based on the way you *would* react...which is ofcourse
predictable...by many whom you have abused)
Also as mentioned in my previous post, THINK *WELL* BEFORE YOU ACT.
