View Full Version : Boot-up getting slower

I've been up-dating my XP Home version faithfully, but in
the last couple of weeks, things seem to be slowing down,
especially going through the start-up.

Up until the last little while, the start-up to desktop
display was straight forward. But suddenly, a page
started showing up part way through asking me to click on
my user name. I can't find anywhere that tells me how to
stop that.

I suspect that one of the up-dates I've downloaded is the
source of my problems.

Any suggestions?
