Hello,

When starting up my desktop icons are slow to load (switching from the
default icon to the "real" icon). I believe this is because the file
that stores the icon information is fragmented? Any ideas on how to
fix this? I've run disk fragmenter with no luck! Thanks for any suggestions!

The icons are usually stored in the linked executables. They are spread all
over the disk that's why it takes some time to "collect" them. In addition,
if there are several apps started after login, it will take some additional
time because the hard disk is used by several applications.
