I purchased a used Dell with Windows XP. The
Administrator's name is "Erin". Is there any way I can
change this name to my name (John)??
I have tried many different ways but have been denied.
Thank You,
John

"Erin" is NOT the administrator, it's a User with Admin rights. (I would
guess). Just create a new user in your name with Admin rights.

John;
The easiest is to create a new profile and copy the data from the old
profile to the new.
Then when you are sure all is OK, you can delete the old profile.
