I have a Compaq Presario 711 that came with WinXP Home installed. This
machine has a 1.0 gh Duron processor with 384 mb memory, and is an absolute
dog. I've tried to install W2k, but the fight getting drivers beats me
every time, so I'll just stay with XP and try to clean up the system to make
it quicker. I have W2k on all my other systems, and don't use XP at all,
hence my lack of familiarity.

Where can I learn how to strip unnecessary XP Home programs, services, etc.
to reduce the overhead? Thanks in advance.
