Hi: I'm always playing and trying to keep my files lean. I read in
PCWorld about removing some .scr files you do not use and I tried it.
But, when I delete the .scr file, after a few seconds it returns to
the file list in the directory. Not a big problem, I'm just curious
if this is normal and the defult .scr files cannot be deleted.
TIA, Walt

Hi,
Each screensaver is an .scr file in \windows\system32. Delete
whichever you don't want.

This will not work! The screensavers are considered to be system files and
XP will always restore the deleted files. You will need to un-install the
screensaver for Add/Remove programs.
