I'm going to upgrade to the academic version of WinXp Pro. Is there any
functionality differences between this version and the regular version?
Thanks,
Gilbert Ferreyra

There is no functionality differences. One of the items forfeited with the
academic version is upgrade rights for the next version of Windows. Since
that won't be around for a couple of years, that may not be a concern for
you.

Yes, you have IE 6 SP1 installed as it states in the second-last line.

That means it was customized to be distributed by another company besides
Microsoft: usually the PC maker or Internet Service Provider.
