3 options on start menu don'work (2°posting)

Hi

3 Options on my start menu in Windows XP suddenly don't work anymore.

I click and nothing happens except that the start menu disappears.

The options are 'help and support', 'search' and 'run'

Incidentally, my start menu is 'not classic' and the three options run if I
toogle to 'classic'

I can't activate 'help and support' from Explorer either but it works if I'm
in Control Panel and click it from there.
