hard drive install

Hi

I,ve just installed a new hard drive, and I installed Win XP Home that was
on my recovery disc,onto the hard drive.

Now every time I boot up I get the message.
No disk or disk error so I have to use the recovery disc to boot up.

I've noticed that my H\D is in location 0 (0)
and my CD-R\RW ........is in location 0 (0).. too
and my DVD-ROM.......is in location 1 (1)

Don't know wether that has anything to do with it though?
Or do I have to buy the Win XP Home CD and put that on?
All answers will be appreciated ( in easy language please )
