SP1 wont download for WIN XP

Hi guys for some reason i try to update to sevice pack 1
and it says that i have and incamptible version of
windows even though i have xp??? I had to reformat my
computer and put xp back on and i downloaded sp1 before
but not it isnt working i am just wondering why??? all
the other security updates and stuff like that updates
why doesnt this?? also i have one other thing my internet
exporer sometimes closes all by itself when i go to
serten web pages iv tryed uninstalling it then
reinstalling it. it works 99% of the time but i like to
chat on yahoo chat and when i try to chat on it the page
loads up and then as soon as it loads boom it totaly
closes on me??? thanx guys for any help you can give me

Try to download the SP from the Windows Update Catalog. Your system
will not be checked for if the update is compatible here.

The Product Key you are using could be a blocked key. I know there were
some keys that Microsoft disabled in SP1 because they were pirated heavily.
I don't know what the exact messages is when you get that error, but this
could be part of the problem. I don't know if your key was accidentally or
on purpose put into this group.
