I installed Norton Systemworks 2002 on my Grandma's new computer. After
doing a live update, Norton no longer shows up in the taskbar and when I
open it, Norton will open for maybe two seconds and then it will close
itself. I open it again and it will stay open for maybe 10 seconds. (This
won't give me time to scan for viruses) What should I do?

You need to upgrade NS to 2003-2004, to work with XP.

Did LiveUpdate tell you to reboot? Did you?

No. It came on automatically when I was on the Internet. The computer quit
responding so I shut it down and turned it back on. P.S. I have Norton
Systemworks 2002 on other computers with XP and it works just fine.

Norton 2002 works just fine on XP I've been using it for
two years.

Sorry, this is *not* correct.

No problems with my NSW 2002 in Windows XP Professional SP1 (all
updates) system either.
