ref windows movie maker

I have an interfact dazzle80 to transfer my video tapes
to my pc..however movie maker caputers the video just fine
but no audio. I have tried another interface by Belkin and
same results. I have tried this on three other computers
and same result. How can it to capture both audio and
video? I have selected video+audio on the caputre sequence

My Dazzle 80 captures both video and audio fine, but many have had to route
the audio into the computer via the sound card as they capture the footage.
