>When booting it is loading up too many of your programs
and utilizing your precious PC resources. Do the
following: Start/Run/type MSCONFIG and click Enter.
Click the StartUp tab and uncheck/disable everything
except your anti-virus, if Norton, it will start with NAV.
Click Apply > OK and reboot. Now you have a "lean, mean
machine and should boot in about 25 seconds. Disabling
in msconfig does not delete any files, only stops them
from starting. You can click any icon to activate the
programs.
