SCVD-VCD PLAYBACK

I have just bought a DV-R and started recording from my
Mini DV. My CD-RW and CD-R's have been formatted for
SVCD and VCD. Both work on the DV-R player and my Apex
DVD, which both support those formats, but when I try to
open in Windows Media Player it gives an unknown error.
How do I get my video from either my JVC mini dv recorder
or disc to download and play on my computer?

Which version of WindowsMediaPlayer are you running? You might want to try
downloading and installing the latest version from
www.microsoft.com/windowsmedia
