I see :
a red small X where graphic should be. This was when I wanted to see a trip
to Turkey and the agency tried to display the places of interest.

Karl,
First, make sure if the "Show Pictures" option is turned on in Advanced tab
of Internet Options.
If it is already on, refer this MSKB article:
Pictures Are Not Displayed on Web Sites in Internet Explorer
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=283807
This problem is also seen in computers where Norton Internet Security
Ad-blocks is turned on.

Pictures were turned on. But the article is very informative and I have
added Turkey under languages. Now I have to find the Travel agency again and
see.
Thanks
Karolus
