What I am trying to do works on a Windows 2000 based
machine but not an XP machine. I want to join a domain
and then copy the users old profile from another domain
to the new users profile in the current domain. I am
logged in as Administrator when I atttempt it. My
problem is that after I select the profile to copy and
the profile I want to copy it to, I need to select the
user from the new domain in the "Permitted to use"
button, but the only domain that shows is the local
accounts on the computer. I tried putting in the
\\domain\account but it will not take it. Under Windows
2000 it would prompt me to logon into the domain and then
the user list would appear. Any clues????
