Current system is XP Home Edition. Fonts, specifically
Bradley, is not in the installed version of word, where
as it was on Windows 98. Can this be imported and from
where without too much difficulty?
Thanks for any help,
John

Bradley was not supplied by Microsoft with Word or any of the Office
products or with any version of Windows.

This font came with another program. You may be able to copy the .ttf file
from the Windows\Font folder on the Windows 98 machine onto a floppy disk
and copy it to the Windows\Font folder on the XP machine. The problem may
be in finding the proper name for the file. If you still have the 98
machine go to Windows Explorer and click on the Windows\Fonts folder. In
the right pane you should see the font name and in the next column you
should see the filesname. Copy the file and all of its cousins (bold,
italic, etc.) to the floppy and then to the XP machine.

Some fonts are licensed similar to other software and the eula you or
someone else agreed to when the Bradley font was installed on the 98 machine
may have precluded you from "legally" using it on another machine.
