messenger pop up box

somehow my pop up box isn't woking. how do you re-
activate it?

Greetings Michael,

I assume you mean the alert windows (also known as toast). If so, you may want to check your
settings to make sure they're enabled. To do so, open up the main Messenger window
(double-click the Messenger icon in the notification area/system tray, by the clock), click
the Tools menu, then Options, then Preferences tab (or General tab depending on version) and
make sure all the options under Alerts are checked.
