Installing windows xp

Gets a "hard error" after rebooting during installtion.
Installation is on new hard drive by western digital and
is 60 gb. Formatted with fat 32 and has 2 partitions.
Processor is 1.2 ghz athlon. Any help on how to get
install to continue/finish would be appreciated and also
information on obtaining a win xp boot disk.

The boot disk for XP is a set of 6 floppies called Boot Setup disks. You can
get them at http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;q310994
XP Home Pro with + without sp1
The limit for fat 32 format is 32 GB. You should be able to use the bootable
CD to partition + format. make sure no prt. is larger than 32 GB even if you
have to make 3 or 4 partitions.
