How do I turn off the thing that automatically fills in
numbers or words that I have typed in before at internet
sites? I just realized that as I longed on to my credit
card site that my whole credit card number came up.

In IE, select menu Tools | Internet Options. Select Content tab and click
Auto Complete... Click Clear Forms to clear autocomplete history. You can
also uncheck appopriate checkboxes to completely disable autocomplete
feature.
