Try www.incredimail.com

This isn't a promo, personally, I'd use anything else before Outlook Express
and it is not any problem I've got with Microsoft, Hotmail for example is nice
to have because it retains your contacts forever, through new computers,
new Os's. I just don't like Outlook

If you are absolutely sure that your settings are correct, including the
ports, then contact SBC Yahoo's tech support.

Incredimail's privacy policy@ states otherwise. Their main page
at http://www.incredimail.com states that they are a Certified
Microsoft Partner. So where do you get your spyware claim from?
Can you prove that Outlook has no spyware?
I do know this:
using Outlook results in spam/unsolicited junk mail for me while
using Incredimail does not.

Actually, Incredimail is known to install spyware, so I certainly
wouldn't recommend that as a solution. Far better to check any
firewall, port, and smtp settings (yes, double-check those) and be sure
there is no spyware or anything that has set a proxy.

I just know it has caused a lot of problems on clients' machines.
However, since I don't use it, perhaps it works well for others and
they adhere to a good privacy policy now (although I'm not sure what
slamming Outlook has to do with anything - but then, I don't use that,
either). So if you are happy with them, great. Maybe they've changed
their ways. It could happen.
