View Full Version : DV capture problem
Testing testing one two

I thought my pc was working ok until I came to capture some more camcorder
footage and I would not have it.
PC Spec:-
120Gb H/D
2.6g amd pro
768mb ram
Win XP Pro
Ulead VideoStudio 7
When I go into capture I can control my camcorder via the videostudio
control panel but when I start capture it starts the tape but does not
capture anything. If I choose my web cam as source instead of my camcorder
that captures ok.
Any ideas, could I need to defrag?

This might be an pbscure problem with your Ulead software.
I use Pinnacle Studio, and if I don't defrag the disc before capture, AND
afterward, I can get all sorts of problems when editing. Sometimes need to
defrag regulaalry with a bigger job, so that Pinnacles own files are
contiguous!
