Saving Passwords

In which file does Windows XP save web site passwords
that I requested to be saved? The program asks If I want
Windows to remember my password at a site. If I say yes,
it saves it. I would like to know where so I can edit
the saved passwords. Thank you.

You don't. You can empty the list in Tools > Options > Content >
AutoComplete.
Or visit the web site, click in the username field and wait for the
list of AutoComplete entries popping up. Highlight the entry you want
to delete and press DEL. The password will be deleted along with the
username.
