I am unable to import videos from folders after downloading them from camcorder into files and folders.

That is somthng I dont know. files etc. Let me say I use "MY album' software that came with my Hitachi camera.
I see the clip in this program..Then I can export. A screen promts me to select a place. I usually just put the clip
in "my videos". It will then save to a folder "untitled". When I then open moveimaker and try to import I open the folder but there is nothing there. It will lusually have BMP or source/cache. but unable to find clip..
