I am having soem problems that I don't know how to fix. For example I right click on the desktop and select properties, I change the way my desktop looks, wallpaper, color scheme, icons, as so on and then when I go to save the theme, I clcick on "Save as"
and choose a file name say Gus1 and click ok. Once I do this Gus1 does not show as a theme name all it says is filename (modified). I even tried to browse for the themes name and it does not exist. I also downloaded a screen saver and installed it, the nam
e of the file is in c:\windows and in c:\windows\system32 and yet the screen saver does not show in the list of available screen savers. I installed it using the exe several times and did not alter where the file was installed with the same results. If I d
oulble click on the screen saver file *.scr the screen saver works as designed. Also I have a UMAX scanner. I bought the updated driver from the manufacturer and had to install it several times before my scanner would work. What is causing ths problem and
how do I fix it?
