Printer will not print

Using WindowsXP Professial, hpdeskjet 960c printer.
Keep getting this notice: Windows cannot connect
to printer, print spooler services is not running.

please e-mail advise to:

Have you tried starting the print spooler...

From the command prompt, type

net start spooler

(and hit enter)

I guess we'll never know seeing as she's sitting by her inbox waiting for an
