How do I get favorites to the desktop in WinXP.Where is

While not what you asked, there is an option to put Favorites on your
start menu, which you might find more convenient. Right-click the
start button, properties, customize.

I got my favorites as a links-toolbar across width of
screen. 15 links with 10 sites under each link.

top tool bar is: file<->help | address bar | <- v >> |

takes up about 3/4 inch of window.
google is one link....no ebay....no yahoo....no copilot.
each link and site has different icon. took 2 hours to
build.
