Is this exact complete error message?
If you have other part of message please post that part too.
If you do not have other message,
Check Start > Programs > Administrative Tools > Event Viewer,
If you can find any error in Event viewer, Please post Event ID, Source and Descriptions.

This is the exact error message. When I go

I found a "failure" in the security Event Log. It
refenced Logon and read as follows:
Logon attempt by: MICROSOFT_AUTHENTICATION_PACKAGE_V1_0
Logon account: Bill Taylor
Source Workstation: BILLTAYLOR
Error Code: 0xC000006A
