I keep getting a file placed on my desk top with this ~
and says my documents any idea why or how I stop it

Hi Joe,

It's actually a copy of your address book, and it's the result of a bug in a
recent hotfix. Microsoft is aware of the issue, but no fix has been
published yet. It happens whenever you open your address book. You can
safely delete the file in the meantime.
