everything has gone large, icons, taskbar, whole
pages.its not the minimize maximize button either.dont
know what i,ve done. please help

Hi John,

Right-click Desktop > Properties > Appearance.
Set it to Windows XP Style and fontsize to "Normal"

Goto control pannel open the display applet and click the apperance tab then
click the effects button in the uncheck the option to use large icons.
