first subfolder in documents and settings has the user's
name specified during Windows XP installation,
can I change it without reinstalling the system?
if yes, how?
if no - XP sucks :(

It can't be renamed, you will need to create another profile.

The easiest way is to create a new account spelled the way you want,
then copy the data from old to new account:
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=811151
Delete the old account when you are certain all is OK.

BTW, the RecentDocs one is in progress. The REG_BINARY module is =

Bat's are 0x430. It's byte order reversed. Ignore the docs as they are =
wrong (it's showing a dword in hex format rather than hex in hex =
format). Remember you can write them as hex or dword. Inf files can't =
write dwords so they write hexs.

Compare callto and ftp. One is hex and one is dword. Both are 0x2. Which =
means show in filetypes dialog (normally things without extensions =
aren't shown).

No problem, Kelly.

BTW, the RecentDocs one is in progress. The REG_BINARY module is =
complete [i think]. Would you like to have a copy of the code via email? =
Another doubt I had is some file types have undocumented EditFlags value =
[such as .bat and others over 00300000]. So, i plan to exclude them in =
the list box.
