I recently upgraded from Win XP to XP Pro and all seems Ok except for
the fact that my CD burner seems really unreliable now.

Instead of getting options in XP to drag and drop to the actual drive,
I now seem to have a temporary place where it holds my files and then
I need to click a write disc link. This would be fine if it works. It
appears to write it but I end up with an unreadable CD with 0 bytes
written (after 30 mins of action from my CD drive).

Any ideas.

PC is newish Dell with lots of memory and standard burner & software.

Thanks
JJ

See "How to Troubleshoot Issues That Occur When You Write Data to a
CD-R or CD-RW Optical Disc in Windows XP"
