Change User ID

The installer of window XP on my new hard drive entered
the wrong user ID name.
How can I change it to my name?

Goto Start -> Settings -> Control Panel OR Start -> Control Panel as the
case may be on your system. Open User Accounts from there. Click on the
username you want to change from the "Users for this computer" list. Click
Properties and modify the "User name" there.

Thanks for the help.
I guess I meant the Computer ID name. My user name shows
my name.The computer name is different and shows up in
the explorer under the computer "(name) settings".This is
the one I like to rename to my user name.
Can you help again?
