View Full Version : Changing length of time for switching to log-in window

Using Windows XP Home (new user) on a Gateway 500S: Is it possible to
change the length of time (lengthen) that XP chooses to switch back to the
main log-in window. I like to leave my news-search program running for
extended periods and NOT to have to keep "logging" back in after only a
couple of minutes unattended time.

Thanks in advance for input.

You can change the time for the screen saver (right click on the desktop,
select properties, and then go to screen saver) to extend this, or else turn
it off entirely by unchecking the option to return to the welcome screen.
