Webcam in MS Messenger shows TV tuner

My webcam in messenger sets up fine in the tuning wizard. No Problem.
But when i actually connect with another user instead of the picture from my
webcam
i get the picture displayed on my tv tuner card!
Frustrating to say the least!
Anyone got any idea whats wrong?
Maybe im being stupid and its just a simple setting that needs tweaking, but
i cant find it
if that is the problem.

Would appreciate any help.

If you are using MSN Messenger 6, go to tools - audio video tuning wizard.
The second step is where you select the camera that you want to use - change
it to your webcam instead of your TV tuner.
