when i first started using my computer, the windows would
always pop up on the top left corner, and new internet
pages would open as full pages. Now everything is opening
in the middle as reduced pages. How can I go back to the
other way?

Windows have a tendancy to remember where they were closed and their
dimensions. If you moved the windows to the center of the screen and closed
them there. That's where and how they will open the next time. You can reset
the default position and dimensions by opening the windows you want to
adjust, then right click on the taskbar and choose Cascade Windows. Close
the windows in their new positions.

Internet Explorer is a little trickier. There's a main window (the first one
you open). Then there are secondary windows which are ones opened after the
first instance (when clicking on a link and choosing Open in New Window, for
example).

For the main window, open IE. Maximize it and close it. The setting will be
remembered. If you have trouble with this, create a shortcut pointing to
iexplore.exe. Change the properties of the shortcut to Run in a Maximized
Window.

For secondary IE windows, use the mouse to make the window as large as
possible. Press Ctrl+X to close it. The next time you open a secondary
window it should appear with the same dimensions. NOTE: If you are browsing
and close all windows only to find a darn pop under window that was hiding,
resize it before closing. Otherwise it's dimensions become the new
"remembered size" for your secondary IE windows. Or if you forget and end up
with smaller windows again, just repeat the mouse resizing steps.
