search wont work

Hi,

I have windows xp home and for some reason the search
utility wont work. I go to start and then to search and it
the program wont open. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Same problem but only when I right-click the Start button and select Search.
I got a box that says "There was a problem sending the command to the
program." Search works from the Start button. Turns out had to allow
Windows Explorer to access the internet with ZoneAlarm in order to get it to
work.
