I have a logitech camera with a built in mic, on messenger I can see and hear the other person but they can only see me. I set it all up, it works on yahoo alright but I rather use messenger. Any ideas and thanks

Get yourself a real mic and plug it into the sound card.
They build good cameras, but should stay out of the sound and software
business.

All I can tell you is that the system is design to use the sound card and a
mic. Howeverr, other mic CAN be used, but if you will notice there are many
problems with that system. If on the other hand a separate mic connected to
the sound card and the audio system is properly configured and selected as
the source during the running of the "Wizard" then it amost always works
perfectly.

Joel:- surely if it works fine on Yahoo, the problem's with MSN or the
software technology involved, not with the bit of kit? Buying a separate mic
is just as likely to land him with it still not working with MSN judging by
a host of postings on here, isn't it?

Phil B (with separate mic that doesn't work reliably with MSN Messenger)
